Oatmeal Dough Snowman

My mom made some oatmeal dough snowmen/snowgirl with the kids. I took it a step further and helped them decorate with accessories. My daughter wanted a princess snowgirl and my son wanted a superhero. For my daughter, we used barbie accessories. She wanted a crown and gold shoes. I happen to find gold shoes in the Barbie bag. For my son, I cut out some blue fabric for a mini cape. :) His was much easier. Here's a simple dough recipe, as I'm unsure what my mom used. OATMEAL DOUGH * 1 part flour * 2 parts oatmeal * 1 part water Mix ingredients together, form into shapes and let dry. Pieces can be painted when dry.

Nothing Beats Play-Doh?

I was watching "A Goofy Movie" with the kiddies today and thought these were the coolest things. Of course, I haven't played with them yet, but I'm thinking of getting the clay as a gift for my daughters birthday. The thing I like about this deal is the accessories. They even include a wind up device to place their creations on so they can make their own robots! Nothing beats Play-Doh, but I love these accessories/body parts. They're much smaller than the ones Play-Doh makes and take up less room. I'm all about less clutter! :)
